Industry analysts at FutureSource tell us that there's building anticipation for Blu-ray sales in the fourth quarter. Of particular note is their mention of the lag in catalogue releases, which suggests that the development segment of the Blu-ray production industry hasn't quite grown as fast as content producers need to meet demand for new titles. This is a good trend for us, since pent up demand by content producers suggests there's more work than then big names can handle. Included is an interesting graph which shows anticipated DVD vs. Blu-ray sell-thru retail value by 2012.
